Enjoy camping the easy way!

There’s plenty of choice at Back of Beyond. Shepherd huts are perfect for a romantic getaway. Each has a wood burner and solar power. Or you could get cosy in our spacious yurt which also has a wood burner. We also have two types of wooden cabins: pods and lodges.

Dogs are welcome in our shepherd huts, in our lodges and our medium-sized pod.

Whether you come for a quick getaway or a longer holiday, glamping is a great way to enjoy our peaceful park for over 18s. You can be sure of a comfortable stay while you explore the beautiful New Forest, Bournemouth and the stunning coastline or the Dorset countryside.

YOUR GLAMPING CHOICES

Two shepherd huts/gypsy caravans

Perfect for a cosy, romantic getaway, both shepherd huts have their own wood burners as well as a panel heater. Lighting is solar powered and there is a mains power point.

At 6 metres long, there’s plenty of room inside for a bed, seating area and storage. At the front there’s a covered porch where you can cook, and at the back there’s a small private deck where you can sit by the stream – a perfect place to enjoy a fire basket in the evenings (available for hire from Reception).

The shepherd huts have electricity and are fully insulated. You can also park your car right alongside them and your dogs are welcome to stay.

One spacious yurt

Staying in our yurt, Beach, you can enjoy your own wood burner, a comfy double bed, a camping kitchen, some furniture and electric power.

Measuring 5 meters in diameter, the yurt offers plenty of space to relax and unwind.

Four glamping pods

Camping pods are like wooden cabins with arched roofs. All four Pods have heating and lighting, plus private decks. They are double glazed and very secure.

Large glamping pods

Our three large pods are Magpie, Robin and Woodpecker. Measuring 3 x 4 metres, they are furnished to a high standard, giving you a cosy and comfortable place stay.

There are fully sprung double beds, a camping kitchen and just enough furniture to be useful. You need to bring all your bedding and towels, and whatever you need to eat and drink.

The pods come with tables and chairs. The larger pods also have loungers on your large private decked area, so you can relax outside in our peaceful park.

A pod for dogs

We have one pod, Kingfisher, where you enjoy glamping in our park with your dog. Like the other pods, it’s furnished to a high standard with a small double bed. It measures 2.3 x 3.25 metres.

Two wooden lodges

Both our lodges, Squirrel and Otter, are furnished wooden cabins measuring 4 metres wide by 3 metres deep. They are both dog friendly.

The lodges are kitted out with a double bed, basic furniture and a covered outdoor camping kitchen.

You’ll need to bring your bedding and towels, plus whatever you need for cooking and making drinks.

The lodges have French windows leading onto large private decks with tables, chairs and loungers, so you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
