Bespoke cycling tours now offered to campers at Back of Beyond Touring Park

Guests staying at Back of Beyond Touring Park, Dorset, now have the opportunity to go on guided cycling tours of the New Forest with a new partnership formed with New Forest Cycling Tours.

British Cycling accredited Mountain Bike Leader, Steve Edmed, has teamed with the owners of Back of Beyond Touring Park to give their customers the confidence to ride from the campsite into nearby Moors Valley or, on an extended tour into the New Forest National Park at Burley.

Tours currently on offer include:

The Moors Valley Leisure Ride – a 2.5 hour tour following the Castleman Trailway and on a circular loop of Moors Valley Country Park.

The Back of Beyond Adventure Ride – a 4-5 hour ride into the New Forest National Park at Ringwood and onto Burley. This ride is more suited for confident riders.

Steve Edmed, owner of New Forest Cycling Tours says:

“I am delighted to be working with Back of Beyond to offer this new service to their guests.

“I love cycling and all that’s on offer here in the New Forest and look forward to being able to showcase some of it to holidaymakers in the area.

“By working with Back of Beyond, we are able to connect people who are already passionate with the great outdoors with a safe and stress-free way to experience cycling in the Dorset and Hampshire countryside.”

Victoria Bowrey, owner of Back of Beyond Touring Park adds:

“We have many guests staying with us that bring their own bikes but perhaps don’t have the confidence to read maps to get to the New Forest.

“Working with New Forest Cycling Tours, we are giving customers the opportunity to take the stresses of navigating away and a chance to explore the beautiful New Forest, which is just a stone’s throw away from our campsite.

“We hope many of our guests will choose to leave their cars behind, and explore our local area by bike.”
