New locally-sourced items for sale in our shop

Over the closed months, we’ve been busy looking at new items to stock in our shop at Reception. As well as the usual staples like milk and bread, you can now fine a range of locally-sourced products. Fordingbridge Fudge

Moores Biscuits

If you’ve ever visited Dorset before then you’ve probably come across Moores Biscuits. Made near Bridport, Dorset, these hand-baked biscuits are made using traditional recipes. Flavours include Coffee Crunch, Dorset Ginger, Walnut Crunch and Chocolate Chip. Perfect to have with a cup of Dorset Tea!

From Dorset With Love

Blandford Forum-based company, From Dorset With Love, has won multiple awards for their pickles, curds, chutneys, marmalades and jams. We stock a big selection of their jars, come and take a look at what we have! Gift packs are also available should you be looking to take a present home for someone.

Purbeck Candles

Making a lovely gift to take home, or simply because you want to spoil yourself! These award-winning candles are made using essential oils, rather than artificial fragrances. Fragrances for sale in our shop include Lazy Sunday, Pure Indulgence, Mindfulness and Sea Breeze.

New drinks

We have added to some of the alcoholic drinks on offer to including local beers from Piddle Brewery. These is also draft bitter from Purbeck, draft cider from Twisted Cider available to drink in Monty’s Bar.

As well as these new additions, we are continuing to stock local ales from Ringwood Brewery and Downton Brewery, Mermaid Gin (from the Isle of Wight – with their fantastic bottles!) and wines and spirits from Lyme Bay Winery. We also continue to stock Back of Beyond Honey, made from beehives on our site.
