With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, it’s got us thinking about some of the ways Back of Beyond is a special place for you and your significant other to go glamping!
Peace and tranquillity
Glamp at Back of Beyond and you can expect a quiet and peaceful site (we are over 18s only). You may hear the sound of birdsong but that’s about all!
Explore our private woodlands together, sit by our lakes and watch the sunsetting or do a spot of wildlife watching.
If you want to get away from things and spend time together then this is the place to go.
Some amazing days out
Base yourselves at Back of Beyond and you can explore some beautiful romantic days out together. Take a walk together through the nearby New Forest National Park or grab some fish and chips and stroll along the beaches at Bournemouth.
Exbury Gardens (pictured below) makes an amazing day out, especially in late spring when the vibrant displays of azaleas and rhododendrons are at their peak.
Likewise, you can easily travel to Salisbury, Winchester and Southampton for shopping, museums, culture and plenty of places to eat out.
Start your glamping break off with some romantic extras
If it’s a special occasion, let us know! Get in touch with us before you arrive and we can arrange to pop a bottle of fizz (various options available) in your unit.
If you give us 48 hours’ notice, we can also arrange for a charcuterie platter to be available to you upon arrival. Choose from mixed platters, cheese platters or vegetarian platters – all made up by a local delicatessen.
Likewise, you can treat yourselves to an afternoon tea from Baking Corner UK. This can be enjoyed at Monty’s Bar or your glamping unit.
Toast marshmallows over a fire
Sit under the stars and toast marshmallows together over a fire. Each glamping unit has its own firepit which is exclusive for you to use during your stay here.
Live music
From time to time, we have live bands play here on site. We have already firmed up some dates for the 2023 season so if you fancy joining us at Monty’s Bar (our onsite bar) for a spot of jazz or blues then arrange to stay over one of our upcoming evenings.
Bring your four-legged friend too
If you share your life with a four-legged friend then they can come too to selected glamping units. Take them on lots of walks nearby (our on-site woods make a great starting point). There are plenty of dog-friendly things to do nearby and you’ll find doggie treats for sale in our shop.
