Happy Dogs Fun Dog Show

Lymington-Keyhaven Nature Reserve Open Day

Sunday 15 September, Normandy Lane, Lymington, 11am-4pm

This preserved area of coastal marshes, lagoons and former salt marshes is important for wintering birds and summer waders. The area provides a scenic walk along the coastline, along which dogs are allowed but must be kept under control. The open day is aimed at all ages with activities including guided walks, bird-ringing demonstrations, guided bird watching in hide, a photography exhibition and wildlife boat trips (charges apply). Cherry Tree Nursery Plant Sale and Autumn Fayre

Saturday 21 September, Cherry Tree Nursery, Off New Road Roundabout,

This very special charity-run nursery is based on horticulture providing a meaningful occupation in a supportive environment to restore wellbeing to people with mental illness. As well as a wide range of plants on offer, there will be refreshments including a volunteers’ cake stall, vegan Green Label Kitchen and burger stall.  There will be craft stalls inside and outside, plus live music. Wood Fair

To help celebrate the Forestry Commission’s 100th anniversary, there’s a special day at nearby Moors Valley. Watch demonstrations of traditional forest skills or join a foraging walk.
